SmartMax Software, Inc., developer of and leader in online live chat software solutions, today announced the release of SightMax Live Chat & Monitoring version 2.0. Offered as an installable live chat solution or OnDemand (hosted), some major features noted are as follows:
"Hosting Friendly" - Added the ability to run in "Hosting" Environments with Hosting Friendly Serialization Options including site limits, operator limits and account limits. Server Update- All changes in the SightMax Administrator take place on-the-fly without any service or server restart.
Enhanced Proactive Chat Invite - The chat invite graphic appears quickly in only 3-5 seconds (configurable), there is now no limit on how many times you can pop up a chat invite and easy-to-view chat invite status has also been added.
Enhanced Chat Transfer – Operators can now accept, decline and withdraw chat transfers and shows the invited status as accepted, rejected or no response.
SMTP Authentication Support - You can now setup SMTP Authentication for Prechat and Email Transcripts for servers requiring SMTP Authentication.
HTTP Protocol/No UDP Required - SightMax uses a completely new Firewall Friendly HTTP Protocol and does not require ANY UDP Bindings.
Optimized Transmission Protocol- Providing faster performance and less overhead.
Website/Operator Limits - Administrators can now setup website and operator limits.
Remote Administrator Login - System Administrators can now login and administer SightMax from any machine that has the Remote Admin Login installed.
Operator Auto Logoff From Remote Location - Operators can now be logged into one machine and then login, at the same time, from a remote location. The original login will timeout in 90 seconds (configurable).
Instant Chat History - New chats show up in searchable chat immediately. (Previously, the browser session had to end before the history was written to the database).
Inactive Visitor Timeout - Visitors that are inactive on the website for more than 30 minutes are now filtered out and not shown in the operator interface.
Referred Visitor Notification - Referred visitors coming to your site are now displayed in the visitor pane with a visual indicator.
