I have tried countless way to try to change the text, operator typing, to other text without any luck. I modified the customlang.xml in the webservices folder and in chat,aspx as instructed. It just won't budge.
by the way is there a way to write the operator name is typing like Mike is typing....
To change the text from the chat window "Operator typing", you need to make sure you are editing the correct files in the correct folder. I believe you need to modify the following files : C:\InetPub\wwwroot\SightMax\AgentInterface\CustomLang.xml , and C:\InetPub\wwwroot\SightMax\WebServicesCustomLang.xml, or you can modify it in C:\InetPub\wwwroot\SightMax\AgentInterface\Chat.aspx .
You could also try recycling SightMax3 Application pool in your IIS, then log in again in your Operator console.
