I run a shopping cart site and have SightMax working on all my regular pages. I would like to run it on my entire store, including the SSL pages, so they can also ask us questions when checking out.

When the customer enters the SSL pages, I'm wondering what I need to do to set it up correctly. SightMax is running on a website at http://apps.site.com/sightmax , but my shop is running at http://store.site.com (not the exact urls). Do I need to get an SSL certificate for my SightMax site? When I try to just point to it from my shop, I get the alert that there are things on the page that are not secure.

I know this is listed in your knowledgebase, but I'm not sure I understand how to get it working correctly.

I'm assuming that your shoping cart is actually on an https: site and thats why you are getting the alert, because you are pulling non-secure information onto an otherwise secure page.

Correct, you'll have to put a certificate on the Sightmax server's IIS box and then change your links for Sightmax in your pages used on the cart, to https:// as well.

Yes Angela, if your sightmax server is not on the same server as your shopping cart, then you would need a ssl certificate for your sightmax server.

Thanks.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought. Luckily my web host Server Intellect handles all that for me, so I'll get them to do that.

So when I call the sightmax server on my https://store.attachedtobaby.com/ssl pages, I refer it to https://apps.attachedtobaby.com/sightmax... correct?
