We would like to update our web server to Linux and i was wondering what would be the best way to install SightMax for this particular setup?  Is there a Linux install?  Is it better just to install SightMax on a separate server and forward requests from the web server to it?  Any suggestions are welcome.... Thanks.

Hi,

You would use absolute for the sightmax monitor and chat tags (rather than /sightmaxagentinterface/.... it would be http://chat.yoursightmaxserver.com/sightmaxagentinterface/...).  Your SightMax install would be a different server (windows of course).  There is no way to install sightmax on a linux server, however the tags can certainly be used on the linux box or any other OS for that matter.

 Hope this helps.
