when people request to chat it seems to skip over the pre-chat survey and i've been unable to determine why yet. Is there some option i haven't been able to find disabling it?
Would it be possible to filter certain ip address from the notifications and reports? Having a popup when someone from the office goes on the website is a bit annoying, and the frequency of which people from my office visit our pages makes the reports somewhat useless.
Thanks for your time.
There are a few things you should look at... Are you using the correct Chat Icon Tag? Are operators signed in and considered online when it seems to skip the pre-chat?
As for the reports... You can sort the reports by ip address. The only thing you would have to do is exclued your ip address ranges when you check your report. I'm also pretty sure if you had the full version of adobe you could export it to a excel document. That way you could do a sort and delete the ip addresses you do not wish to include in your list.
Heres a link to a cheap pdf converter software package. http://3d2f.com/programs/22-793-universal-document-converter-download.shtml
We do have a &skipsuvey option that will skip the prechat survey. You might check your chat tag.
If the fields aren't required, then the visitor can click submit on a blank prechat survey, that would give you the same effect as skipping it.
You can filter IP's, check the sightmax admin quickstart. I can't recall right now the name, but it's in the xml file, I believe in the sightmaxwebservices folder.
Thanks.
