    Email Transcript feature

    We are using SM version 2 (build 24).  I wonder if there's a feature/API call that can be used to automatically email the chat transcript to some admin group anonymously (BCC).  Currently, the prechat survey's visitor email field allows us to send the transcript to the visitor/end user, but one of our clients wants to receive the chat transcript as well anonymously for customer service training purposes (strange request, but oh well they want it).  Please let me know.  Thank you!

    That feature isn't in 2.0, but it is in version 3.  There is a checkbox in the admin program that allows you to send chat transcripts to the email address defined for the queue.

    New problem???

    The Email Transcript feature (to email chat log to visitor after the chat ends) sometimes does not work.  No email is sent sometimes.  I had to restart the Sightmax service to get it working again last time.  Can you confirm this is an issue with this version?  Thanks.

    I haven't seen a single issue with the email transcript option. Look at your email server event log at the time this happens and see what is being reported. Eric Weber
